ICT Coordinator at Hässleholm Municipality

Do you want to drive digital development for the school sector and create the best possible conditions for teaching and learning? We are now looking for an ICT Coordinator who wants to combine pedagogical development work with technical understanding and be a support to the operations.

About the Position

In 2025, Hässleholm Municipality will begin the transition from Google Workspace for Education to Microsoft 365 Education (M365) and will take initial steps in phasing out our Chromebook devices. When you take on the role of ICT Coordinator, you will be a key person in the continued implementation of this change. You will also work on developing, adapting, and improving our digital systems and tools. The assignment requires you to work proactively and drive the work forward, rather than merely managing and holding processes together.

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the operations updated regarding agreements, digital systems, and tools, developing routines, and supporting the transition to Microsoft. You will be available for questions regarding the digital school environment and participate in reference groups related to the implementation to gather feedback. You will be a valuable support to the operations throughout the entire timeline. The assignment also includes system administration, supplier contacts, environmental monitoring, and being a link between the educational operations and the IT department, in close collaboration with our school technicians.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with an academic degree focused on educational training for the school system or IT, or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. You have a very good understanding of systems and are used to working in data-heavy environments with the support of BI tools, with a clear focus on security and privacy where you ensure proper handling of information according to GDPR and applicable guidelines. Furthermore, you have several years of experience working with Google Workspace for Education and M365. Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage.

The role requires you to be structured, analytical, and accustomed to taking responsibility for your own work. You are a confident person with a pragmatic approach and good communication skills. You are clear in your dialogue, can set boundaries, and balance demands in a professional manner. You thrive in collaborations and find it easy to build trust in contact with different parts of the organization.
